Variety launch supported by humorous marketing campaign
Unwrapped in a 2.83-ounce sharing size and a 7.0-ounce re-sealable stand-up pouch, Twix Bites offer the same rich caramel, crunchy cookie and milk chocolate taste as the full-size bar. A new marketing campaign provides several humorous reasons about what took so long for the bite-size Twix to be created. Consumers can hear reasons by calling (844) WHY-SO-LONG and choosing from a series of “excuses” for the delay. Twix also unveiled a similarly themed TV commercial this month, which can be viewed on the brand’s Facebook page. The manufacturer states that 97% of consumers believe this variety met or surpassed their expectations, and more than 40% stated that they would share bites with friends and family.
