Consumers name variety through exclusive Facebook vote
The launch of Snickers Xtreme comes about following a first-time initiative sponsored by the manufacturer, in which consumers selected the name through an exclusive Facebook page voting process. Snickers Xtreme features a single layer of crunchy roasted peanuts and caramel and enrobed in milk chocolate. Available in 2015, the bar will be packaged in a 3.56-ounce “2 to Go” format. Consumers selected the brand name from a list of five options including Go Nuts, #MoreNuts, Nuts Galore and Nuts.
