Amber cider 16-oz can caters to outdoor activities, available in 4-pack
Following the successful 2012 rollout of a 12-ounce can, Woodchuck Hard Cider introduces a 16-ounce can of its flagship Amber cider. The migration to a can package was done to facilitate consumer outdoor activities, according to the manufacturer. The 16-ounce can is currently shipping, and expected to be in stores in the coming weeks. Specifically targeted to the convenience store channel, the variety will be sold in a 4-pack as well as single cans.
GasMart may be best known to the average industry follower for its 2012 acquisition of 37 stores from PCF Saleco and the Jumpin Jimmy’s chain of stores in Illinois. Those deals nearly doubled the company’s size.
