Don’t be fooled. Truth is, tobacco sales in the United States are roughly equivalent to the baseline general fund revenues projected in California for 2012-2013.
“Tobacco is about a $90-billion business that drives very frequent trips,” said Bloom, president and COO of Family Dollar, during a conference call with analysts.
