ELMHURST, Ill. -- The Kellogg's Convenience Team has announced that the Pringles brand of potato crisps is now part of the Kellogg's portfolio. "We are thrilled to bring all the Pringles flavors and sizes onboard for our retailers and their consumers," said Kim Belson, senior customer marketing manager of convenience.
To ensure Pringles are easy to order, the Kellogg's Convenience team has generated new UPC and order codes to ensure delivery will not be disrupted. "We are working hard to make the transition seamless," said Kerry Stone, business unit manager for Pringles. "We are committed to supporting and accelerating the strong growth of Pringles in the convenience channel."
Retailers can find the new UPC and order codes at www.KelloggsConvenience.com.
The Pringles foundation is built on its three most popular flavors: Original, Sour Cream & Onion and Cheddar Cheese in standard and single-serve can sizes. To meet the demand for variety, Pringles also expanded its line:
*Pringles Grab & Go cans are a convenient and portable, single-serve snacking size in Original, Sour Cream & Onion, Cheddar Cheese and BBQ.
*Pringles comes in its familiar standard-sized can in a wide variety of flavors including Original, Sour Cream & Onion, Cheddar Cheese and other on-trend flavors like Salt & Vinegar, Honey Mustard and Xtreme Screamin' Dill Pickle. The can is also resealable so consumers can enjoy snacking throughout the day.
As part of the Kellogg's salty snack product family, Pringles joins Special K Chips, Cheez-It Duoz Baked Crackers and Cheez-It Baked Snack Mixes and Crackers, creating a comprehensive selection of convenience store snacks. "Along with the new UPC and order codes, retailers should expect to see impactful promotions, ongoing communication and continued product innovations," said Belson.
Battle Creek, Mich.-based Kellogg Co. is a leading producer of cereal, cookies and crackers and--through the May 2012 acquisition of the iconic Pringles business--the world's second largest savory snacks company.
