GRIMES, Iowa -- Ryko Solutions Inc., a leading North American manufacturer of car wash equipment and a major provider of service support and cleaning products, has announced that it has acquired the assets and operations of R.W. Mercer's car wash service organization for the state of Michigan.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The move further solidifies Ryko's national service support network of more than 250 trained technicians who provide maintenance on Ryko and competitive equipment brands.

Various programs are under way for the integration of the functions of the two companies to ensure the already outstanding customer support R.W. Mercer's customers have come to expect is continued. Tom Thomas, sales manager of R.W. Mercer's car wash operations group and Mark Hartzer, the team's service manager, will remain with Ryko Solutions, Inc., respectively overseeing the sales of all equipment, service and cleaning products and the subsequent scheduling, service delivery and customer support.
Ryko Solutions, based in Grimes, Iowa, offers integrated solutions of equipment, chemicals, technical services and consumer marketing with a focus on creating maximum profitability in car wash operations for gas/convenience stores, investors, land developers and auto dealers.
