CLEARWATER, Fla. -- GSP Marketing Technologies Inc. (GSP), a leading provider of retail services, announced a major expansion of its production and fulfillment capacity with the recent acquisition and installation of two new large-format screen presses for its Clearwater, Fla., location, the addition of two screen press shifts in its Utah production facility and the acquisition of two new flatbed UV digital presses.
"We are very excited about how this new equipment will impact our customers' stores," said Elaine Scrima, GSP's director of operations. "These new presses will
significantly increase our production capabilities and enhance throughput as our customers' demands continue to change to meet the challenging retail environment.
The digital production expansion includes two new Oce Arizona 550XT presses, recognized as offering best-in-class image quality through Oce's proprietary Variadot imaging technology.
"The ability of these presses to generate dots ranging from 6 picolitres to 42 picolitres will enable us to offer an unmatched blend of sharp resolution and color accuracy," added Scrima.
GSP's new screen presses will expand GSP's capacity for higher run counts and improve overall quality as part of the continued investment in G7 Qualification. GSP is one of approximately 20 printers in the United States to achieve the G7 Master Printer Qualification from IDEAlliance in both digital and screen-printing methods. G7 is a method for calibrating imaging devices to ensure consistency across multiple production runs for the highest-quality point-of-purchase (POP) regardless of print method or production facility.
GSP is headquartered in Clearwater, Fla.
