ROSLINDALE, Mass. -- Chamel and George Makhoul, owners of Rosy Gas LLC, located in Roslindale, Mass., recently added U‑Haul truck and trailer rentals and moving merchandise sales to the gas station business they have been operating since 2011.
"As a startup business, we felt U-Haul would not only benefit our business, but also would benefit our Roslindale community members," the Makhouls said.
Other retailers that have recently added U-Haul. Kalindi Patel, owner of Phillips 66 station in Danville, Ill., recently added U‑Haul truck and trailer rentals and merchandise sales to the gas station business she has been operating since 2009.

Pete Iodice, owner of Travel Center Partners Inc., dba Bryan's Country Store, located in Hardeeville, S.C., recently added U-Haul services and merchandise to the convenience store business he has been operating since 2012.
"We felt that being able to partner with a quality national brand truck and trailer rental operation would help us increase our convenience store business," Iodice said. "Also, being able to offer the service of truck and trailer rentals not only to the local area, but being able to service the people moving into the area by having a convenient location to drop off either their truck or trailer. Since we started with U-Haul, we have seen an increase in our convenience store traffic and have had steady U-Haul business growth."
Jennifer Martin, owner of Carolina Tobacco & Beverage in Hillsborough, N.C., recently added U-Haul truck and trailer rentals and moving supplies to the c-store business she has been operating since May 2012.
"Carolina Tobacco and Beverage added U-Haul rentals to our business because we knew that they not only would benefit our business but also would benefit the people in Hillsborough and the surrounding areas," Martin said.
And Tiger Stop in Bentonville, Ark., recently added U--Haul truck and trailer rentals and merchandise sales to the c-store business.
"Adding U-Haul rental services to our existing services as a convenience store, gas station and U.S. postal unit makes Tiger Stop a one-stop trip for many needs of our Bentonville customers," said Mike McKenzie, owner of Tiger Stop.
The retailers can now offer its customers a variety of moving equipment and supplies designed specifically for moving household furnishings, including moving vans, open trailers, closed trailers, furniture pads, appliance dollies, furniture dollies, tow dollies and auto transports.
