LA PALMA, Calif. -- The ampm convenience store chain has rolled out new Snack Bites products across its network, offering customers a chicken or potato option. Designed as a value snack on their own, or as a tasty companion to the more substantial burger and sandwich menu items, the team behind ampm Snack Bites expect high levels of customer interest.
"Our customers told us that they love our value menu selection and want more options, at even more accessible prices," said Bill Fry, La Palma, Calif.-based ampm's president. "Snack Bites will have great appeal across a wide
range of customers, from kids needing a quick fill up on the run, to adult customers wanting something in between or to accompany meals."
Snack Bites are oven baked and are easy to eat for mobile customers. "These products will be priced to attract the cost conscious customer," Fry added. "Those looking for a quality product at a value price will enjoy the Snack Bites offer. In addition, Snack Bites are just right for easy consumption on the go."
New Snack Bites products will launch at participating ampm stores on April 5. Participating stores will offer free samples between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on April 13, while supplies last. Customers visiting a store that day will be able to get a taste of the new product, as well as a 25-cent coupon for the purchase of Snack Bites on their next visit.
The ampm brand was founded by ARCO in 1978 in Southern California. ARCO-branded ampm stores are currently found in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Arizona; BP-branded ampm stores are located in Chicago, Orlando, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Atlanta.
