CARY, N.C. -- Cary Oil Co. Inc. has announced that Jim Bosworth is joining the company as vice president of real estate and strategic growth. In this new position, Bosworth will spearhead a selective acquisition program along with managing the company's real-estate assets, the Cary, N.C.-based company said.

Since Bosworth was previously with The Pantry Inc., the acquisition arena will be a familiar role for him. During his tenure with Pantry, also with headquarters in Cary, he was a chief architect of the company's growth and expansion under Pete Sodini's leadership.

"I'm happy to say I've found a wonderful new home with Cary Oil," Bosworth told CSP Daily News. "I'm here and looking to grow this company as I helped Pete grow The Pantry."

Prior to The Pantry, he was with Store24, Waltham, Mass., in various roles.

Don Stephenson, president of Cary Oil, added, "We are delighted to have Jim joining the team. His transactional experience and expertise with acquisitions will be critical in helping us reach our growth goals in the upcoming years."

Headquartered in Cary, NC, Cary Oil is a leading independently owned distributor of fuels to retail and wholesale customers. As of November 1, the company serviced more than 500 customers in 18 states.
