The unscientific listing of convenience stores, gas station, truckstops and travel centers not previously reported in CSP Daily News has been arranged by state. Click through each item for more details on each store.

California

New Circle K c-stores opened in Wildomar and Bellflower, Calif. They are part of the Circle K Franchise system.

Florida

Ed Kaplan, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., investor, has bought a property and building leased to 7-Eleven Inc. in South Dayton, Fla., for approximately $3.3 million. The seller was Loulourgas Properties, Clearwater, Fla. 7-Eleven plans to continue leasing and operating the store.

A Circle K c-store opened in Lakeland, Fla. The new store, part of the Circle K Franchise system, is co-branded with Marathon fuel.

Wawa, Pa.-based Wawa opened new c-stores in Tampa and Largo, Fla.

Indiana

Orleans, Ind.-based Sprint Inc. has closed and put up for sale its four gas stations in Bedford, Mitchell, Orleans and Salem, Ind. Anderson, Ind.-based Ricker Oil Co. purchased the Bedford Swifty station.

Kentucky

Martin & Bailey Inc., Carmi, Ill., opened a new Huck's c-store in Owensboro, Ky.

Five Star Food Mart opened a new store in Lancaster, Ky.

Louisiana

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc., Oklahoma City, opened a new travel stop in Duson, La., on I-10, at Exit 92.

Maine

South Paris, Maine-based C.N. Brown Co. opened a new CITGO Big Apple Food Store in Augusta, Maine. 

Massachusetts

Framingham, Mass.-based Cumberland Farms opened a remodeled location in Concord, Mass.

New Jersey

Wawa has closed a c-store in Cherry Hill, N.J. "Whenever possible, we modernize our older stores rather than close them," said Lori Bruce, a spokesperson for the Wawa, Pa.-based company. "We have considered as many options as possible to keep this store open, but it is just not feasible for us to modify this store to meet our current standards."

Texas

CST Brands Inc. has opened a new Corner Store in the Alamo Heights area of Austin, Texas, one of four larger-format stores it will open there this year.

Knoxville, Tenn.-based Pilot Flying J opened new Pilot Travel Centers in Big Spring and George West, Texas.

Temple, Texas-based CEFCO Convenience Stores re-opened existing sites in Amarillo and Paris, Texas, featuring the chain's latest prototype design.

Marathon Petroleum Corp. is opening its first branded station in the state of Texas. The Texas City location was previously an Exxon station. Texas City is home to two of MPC's seven refineries.  

Juan Molina has opened Molinas, a "super convenience store," with butcher shop, produce and gas station in San Antonio, Texas.

Corpus Christi, Texas-based Susser Holdings Corp. has opened new Stripes c-stores in Spring, Houston and Lubbock, Texas.

Virginia

A new Circle K c-store has opened in Mt. Jackson, Va., part of the Circle K Franchise system.
