OMAHA, Neb. -- Telvent DTN, a real-time technology solutions and information supplier, this week launched a "dashboard" configured solution designed to improve the bill-to-cash cycle for fuel marketers. The product, "DTN Fuel Admin," provides users standardized electronic bills of lading (eBOLs) that transmit at rates faster than average, said the company.

Fuel marketers can rely on near real-time delivery of pretranslated eBOLs, speeding up billing processes and bringing cost-savings, it said.

Complex BOLs, delivered from varying sources and on varying schedules, create administrative hassles for fuel marketers and impede the bill-to-cash cycle. Using Fuel Admin, users now have the capacity to receive streamlined, accurate electronic bills of lading and can rely on delivery within minutes of load completion.

In addition, the new solution provides standardized, easy-to-read eBOLs, cross-referencing from the an extensive BOL repository to meet users' backoffice specifications without the need for further translation.

"Fuel marketers now have the solution they need to increase efficiencies in the back office," said Ignacio Gonzalez, Telvent's chairman and CEO. "Telvent DTN is committed to finding the best ways to provide our customers with cost-saving tools for every level of business."
