NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Cybera Inc., a provider of cloud-based security and application services, has reached a milestone 10,000 deployments of its Cybera ONE platform in Shell stations nationwide. This mark means more than two-thirds of Shell’s retail stores nationwide are now using Cybera’s ADN solutions.

Shell Oil Products U.S., the largest petroleum retail brand in the U.S., selected Cybera in March 2013 to migrate their payment-card traffic at domestic Shell-branded stores from Shell’s VSAT satellite network to a next-generation broadband solution by the end of 2013.

“We are proud to have achieved this level of success in Shell stores across the country. Reaching five-figure-sized deployments in this short timeframe is a landmark accomplishment that very few technologies have the privilege of attaining,” said Cliff Duffey, CEO of Cybera. “We look forward to our future with Shell and the continued growth of Cybera as a provider of network security solutions to distributed enterprise customers and application partners.”

As business needs for multiple application deployment, while securing credit-card and payment applications within compliance, Cybera provides an easy plug-and-play solution for retail outlets that can be easily installed by personnel in minutes, securely hosting proprietary applications for payment and loyalty required to run in each store. It also includes a 3G/4G wireless backup in each appliance, allowing the store better uptime and reliability for critical applications such as payment processing.
