OKLAHOMA CITY -- Total Express 24-7 LLC and Shop24 Global announced their first installation of a robotic store in a national tourism destination with the new OKC Riversport store in the Boathouse District on the Oklahoma River.

Rowers and athletes of all types can now purchase healthy snack and meal options on their way to and from the workout facility, which includes rowing, kayaking, running, cycling, dragon boating and more

"Total Express 24-7 LLC was created to bring ultra-convenience to Oklahoma City,” said Ty T. Hartwig of Total Express 24-7 LLC. “We are excited to be placing our second robotic convenience store in the metro with the Boathouse Foundation. We intend on filling the Boathouse store with items that will meet specific needs of the athletic clientele, while also offering healthy options for the families that come to enjoy the relaxing environment. The unique planning that goes into each placement is key to the machine’s success."

"This location is the first to be at a state or national tourist attraction, and we are excited to see it break several records from our school, apartment and transit locations," said Mike Weigel, chief marketing/sales officer of Shop24.

Originally operated in Europe, Shop24 brings an innovative idea to ultra-convenience, dispensing a variety of items, such as snacks, cleaning supplies, health and beauty products, and even full meals, closer to the customer in less time than it takes to shop at a traditional store. This automated store is self-contained, refrigerated and designed to enable 24/7 purchases.

Shop24 stores can currently be found at many locations, such as college campuses, apartment complexes and mass-transit locations.
