NAVASOTA, Texas --The Rattlers chain of convenience stores has chosen to partner with OpenStore by GasBuddy to reward loyal customers with special discounts and offers.
Now with 14 locations across Brazos Valley in Texas, Rattlers was established by Jim Kolkhorst in 2004 to unite several c-stores that were operating under different names.
OpenStore is a complete digital marketing solution for c-store owners. The marketing platform is built and hosted by OpenStore by GasBuddy, which helps business owners and managers concentrate on reaching and rewarding their customers instead of building and maintaining IT systems. With OpenStore, Rattlers now has the ability to reach drivers through a branded mobile app, individual store web pages, mobile coupons and social media.
"Rattlers convenience stores is extremely excited about launching our new web site developed by OpenStore. This new site will give Rattlers the platform needed to fully integrate all available social media, Rattlers Rewards loyalty, mobile applications and communication tools to better stay in touch with our valuable customer base. The future of the convenience retailing industry will be focused on better technology, and Rattlers will be ready for it," said Jim Kolkhorst owner and CEO of Rattlers Stores, based in Navasota, Texas.
"We help our clients identify new opportunities, make choices between those opportunities and optimize their customer experiences to attain and sustain market leadership," said Jason Toews, co-founder and CEO of OpenStore by GasBuddy. "OpenStore is a complete turnkey social technology solution that will support Rattlers strategies to reach their customers with targeted marketing and powerful messaging."
The Rattlers name was established by Jim and Lois Kolkhorst who wanted an image that reflected Texas' outdoor heritage. They chose "Rattlers," referring to two whitetail bucks locked in combat.
Gaithersburg, Md.-based OpenStore by GasBuddy increases customer loyalty by providing two-way communication between c-store owners and customers using web technologies and custom branded mobile applications. The OpenStore dashboard allows clients to collect customer feedback, manage social media, deliver mobile coupons and text message campaigns all from a single location.
