Pinnacle, Centego Complete Loyalty Interface

Enables retailers using both platforms to offer rewards based on purchases at other channel retailers

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Pinnacle Corp. recently completed and certified an interface between its Pinnacle Palm POS platform and Centego's fuel rewards loyalty host. By leveraging Pinnacle's existing point-of-sale loyalty functionality and specifications, Centego has completed the development of an interface between Pinnacle Palm POS and the Centego loyalty host, enabling retailers using both platforms to offer consumer fuel discount rewards based on prior purchases at other channel retailers.

"Our goal is to provide flexibility for our clients; this interface provides another option for Pinnacle clients using Palm POS in terms of loyalty program offers for their customers. Our clients can take advantage of the Centego product independently of Pinnacle's loyalty solutions, or it can be used in tandem with our solutions to offer a combination of different programs based on market conditions and strategic goals."

As the companies announced on October 5, 2011, the Pinnacle-Centego interface has been certified, piloted and is currently being rolled out at WilcoHess, a retail convenience store, travel plaza, and restaurant operator of more than 400 stores based out of Winston-Salem, N.C. Based on purchases at WilcoHess's partner, Lowes Food Stores, a retail grocery store operator with more than 100 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, consumers can take advantage of fuel discounts at WilcoHess locations in the form of price rollbacks at the dispenser.

Formed in 2001 as a joint venture between AT Williams Oil Co. and Hess Coro., Winston-Salem, N.C.-based WilcoHess is a leading operator of convenience stores, travel plazas and restaurants with more than 400 locations in the southeastern United States.

Lowes Foods operates 107 stores in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
