ST. PAUL, Minn. -- An advanced routing tool, a community recognition program and weekly energy-related tips are some of the features of the new www.cenex.com, the energy brand website of CHS Inc., the nation's leading farmer-owned cooperative and a global energy, grains and foods business.

"The new Cenex website has advanced routing, making it easy for people to fully map their road trips and vacations, with stops at any of the more than 1,400 Cenex fueling locations across the country," said Akhtar Hussain, refined fuels marketing manager for CHS.

"There's also an industry-leading lubricants product search tool and savings calculator that makes it simple to accurately match API-certified Cenex oils and greases to specific vehicles and agricultural, fleet, oil patch and construction equipment for optimal protection."

Visitors to the new site can also recognize people through the Cenex Tanks of Thanks program. Consumer nominations are entered into monthly drawings that award $50 Tanks of Thanks gift cards to people who do good deeds, no matter how small or big, in their communities. Cenex retailers can designate up to six individuals per location, each fiscal year, to automatically receive $50 Tanks of Thanks gift cards supplied by CHS.

Another highlight of the new site is the Cenexperts blog featuring helpful information from CHS experts on topics such as behind-the-wheel health tips and road trip fun facts.

As part of its overall marketing support, CHS regularly provides timely editorial content and newsletter articles to Cenex marketers for use in their own local communication programs.

In addition, the new cenex.com also features:

  • Access to apply for a Cabela's CLUB Visa credit card, giving consumers the opportunity to earn 2% back in double CLUB points on their purchases--a perk available only at Cenex gas stations and convenience stores.
  • The latest propane uses and propane safety information, including the ability for consumers to search for c-stores offering cylinder propane for powering their grills, fish houses, generators and more.
  • The ability to apply for Cenex credit cards, manage accounts and purchase Cenex gift cards with ease.
  • Enhanced mobile capability that allows users to navigate seamlessly from desktop to tablet to smart phone, making it easier than ever to find fuel and earn 2% back in Cabela's CLUB points on-the-go.

"CHS has invested in this new site to help drive traffic to Cenex-branded locations year-round," said Hussain. "We are committed to helping our customers grow their business and succeed long-term in the competitive retail marketplace."
