Canadian Tire Renews Agreement With Gilbarco Veeder-Root
EMV compliance with Encore S dispensers, FlexPay EMV retrofit kits

TORONTO -- Canadian Tire Corp. Ltd will install Gilbarco's FlexPay EMV solution across its 289 gasoline outlets in Canada. The company selected Gilbarco's Encore S dispensers and retrofit kits in order to meet Europay, MasterCard and Visa (EMV) compliance.
Gilbarco Veeder-Root's FlexPay EMV CRIND provides an integrated solution for EMV compliance. Retailers get full security for both debit-card and credit-card transactions, factory installed on the new Encore S dispensers and as a retrofit to existing dispensers. Customers enjoy the same familiar and intuitive experience everywhere.
Since 2008, Gilbarco has installed more than 90% of the EMV-capable forecourt payment points in Canada.
