Interfacing with Ruby-Sapphire systems
CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Greenbax Enterprises Inc. said that it has completed the certification process to become a VeriFone Inc. loyalty partner. Greenbax Enterprises has developed a complete interface to accurately integrate its coalition loyalty program into VeriFone's Ruby-Sapphire site controller, a major petroleum/convenience store point of-sale (POS) system.
With approximately 40% of the integrated POS system market, VeriFone's Petro Partner Certification positions us nicely to be the vendor of choice when it comes to a low-cost, high-visibility coalition [image-nocss] loyalty program for c-stores who are currently using the Ruby system with plans to add Sapphire, said Kevin Casey, program manager for Greenbax Enterprises, Charleston, S.C. We can now provide a standalone or integrated coalition rewards and loyalty program to the convenience store industry.
He added, We've built our own coalition network in and around Piggly Wiggly grocery stores throughout South Carolina and Georgia. We've been looking at the opportunities to provide integrated solutions to our current c-store partners, many of whom use VeriFone's POS systems. With our proven track record of building success for all partners in our coalition, we now have another reason to look for additional c-store partners.
San Jose, Calif.-based VeriFone Holdings Inc. is a global provider of secure electronic payment technologies for vertical markets including financial, retail, petroleum, government and healthcare.
Greenbax Enterprises began as a sister corporation to Piggly Wiggly Carolina in the 1950s, conceived as a trading-stamp program where customers saved and earned stamps at Piggly Wiggly stores exclusively. Greenbax is now an entirely electronic consumer-oriented organization with a variety of redemption options and earning opportunities, it said.
