Plans to expand store, add Dunkin' Donuts
WESTON, Mass. -- VERC Enterprises, an independent convenience store and gasoline operation with locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, has added a new location in Weston, Mass.
VERC Weston Mobil is currently operating as a gasoline station, and VERC Enterprises CEO Leo Vercollone is working with Weston officials in the hopes of obtaining permitting to expand the scope of the c-store and include a Dunkin Donuts counter.
"Weston is such a great community and we are very pleased to become part of it," said Vercollone.
The Duxbury, Mass.-based chain has expanded its reach [image-nocss] along Route 495 and 128, having recently opened locations in West Andover and in Andover, Mass. The business now has 19 c-store/gasoline stations throughout eastern Massachusetts and one in southern New Hampshire, and it also operates several Briteway car wash facilities.
VERC Enterprises projects growth of three to five locations per year.
In other company news, VERC recently presented the Cold Spring Elementary School in Plymouth with a check for $500, to be used for a broad range of academic enhancement or sports programs.
It also recently presented the North Pembroke Elementary School with a check for $500, to be used for a broad range of academic enhancement or sports programs and has been earmarked for materials at the elementary school's reading library.
Both grants were made possible through the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program.
