VERC Acquires Acton, Mass., Store

DUXBURY, Mass. -- VERC Enterprises, a leading independent convenience store and gasoline operation with locations throughout eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, recently announced the addition of its 21st location, in Acton, Mass.
The new VERC Enterprises East Acton Mobil takes the place of an existing Mobil station, formerly owned by Ed Booth. Located in a high-traffic volume area, the station includes a full c-store with a Dunkin Donuts counter.
The Acton store will be open 24 hours a day, the company said.
"We are excited about being part of such a [image-nocss] vital community and area in general," said Leo Vercollone, CEO of Duxbury, Mass.-based VERC Enterprises. "We look forward to serving existing and future clients in this excellent Acton location."
Currently, VERC Enterprises operates 21 Exxon- , Mobil- and Gulf-branded locations, many offering Dunkin Donuts and Subway, and it employs more than 185 people throughout the organization. The company began 30 years ago with a single car wash in Marshfield, Mass., in a business founded by Eugene Vercollone. The company still operates two Briteway Car Wash facilities.
