OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. -- Leading convenience store industry decision-makers are marking their schedules to attend Outlook Leadership 2014 because they understand that without knowledge, there is limited power.

At this year's Outlook Leadership conference, specialty programming designed for executive-level and emerging leaders will give them access to leadership development techniques from veteran military strategists, useful insights in to capital markets from noted financial experts and exclusive meeting time with global fuel wholesalers.

CSP Business Media--a leading facilitator of major convenience store retailing and foodservice industry networking events--will present the 20th annual Outlook Leadership 2014 conference at the Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale, Ariz., from Nov. 16-19, 2014.

Outlook attendees can also look forward to thought-provoking headline speakers and a full schedule of educational sessions to help them successfully manage the demands of guiding their companies.

Due to the depth and scope of its agenda, Outlook regularly welcomes more than 300 presidents, vice presidents, CFOs, COOs and director-level managers representing nearly 79,000 convenience store, petroleum/fuel and foodservice sites.

Last year, the conference played host to leaders from Wawa, Shell Oil Products, Kwik Trip, Circle K, Chevron, 7-Eleven, Cary Oil, Maverik, Martin & Bayley/Huck's, Sheetz, Robinson Oil and many more.

"Outlook Leadership provides a perfect combination of senior management networking with excellent speakers and educational content," said Scott Hartman, president and CEO at Rutter's. "I am invited to a lot of meetings and conferences, and Outlook is on my 'must-attend' list."

New for 2014, the Thayer Leadership Development Group (TLDG) will offer its specialized brand of leadership development held for the first time away from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. The Thayer Leadership "Boot Camp" at Outlook will feature a keynote presentation by Major Brigadier General (retired) Maureen LeBoeuf, a workshop by Col. (retired) Thomas Henry Magness, and a "Body & Brain Boost" physical workout.

The conference will continue its military theme into the charitable giving activities of CARRE, the Charitable Alliance of Restaurant & Retail Executives. This year, CARRE will focus on the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides support to the spouses and children of soldiers killed or disabled in service to our country.

Rounding out the Outlook schedule will be numerous opportunities for professional and social relationship building; CSP's signature Leadership Workshops; the TopGolf Reception and Dinner; and the C-Store Product Gallery.

"Leaders have told us they come to Outlook because it provides the best content in the industry and therefore brings together the right mix of executive-level industry players," said Kay Segal, senior vice president at CSP Business Media. "The value of the few days at this event is immense."

The 20th annual Outlook Leadership conference brings together top executives from the convenience store and retail petroleum industry with the right suppliers in a unique networking environment designed to build camaraderie and share strategic challenges.
