Wholesale Fuel Price Trends
For a fourth week running, wholesale petroleum prices dropped across the country, leading to what will likely be the lowest prices at the end of July since 2010, according to OPIS/GasBuddy.com data.
Unbranded wholesale prices were up in the West, but in the Great Lakes region, prices are down as much as 5.8 cents per gallon (CPG). The smallest dip was again in the Rockies, where prices declined less that 1 CPG.
Diesel fuel, meanwhile, is back on the rise everywhere but in the Rockies region, which is catching up on earlier declilnes elsewhere.
