New President for Gilbarco North America
Schulte comes from within Danaher group

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Mike Schulte becomes president of Gilbarco North America on Dec. 1. He reports to Martin Gafinowitz, Danaher group executive and president of Gilbarco Veeder-Root. Schulte's appointment signals a continued investment in the North American business by Gilbarco and a commitment to the retail and commercial fueling sites in the region.
Schulte was most recently president of Hennessy Industries. He has held numerous leadership positions with other Danaher companies since 1998, including director of marketing and vice president/general manager of encoders while at Sensors and Controls, and president Europe, president of linear motion and senior vice president of sales and marketing while at Danaher Motion.
Prior to joining Danaher, Schulte worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group. He began his career in sales at General Motors.
"This will be a great step for the business," said Gafinowitz. "Mike will greatly strengthen Gilbarco's team and bring a proven focus to our customers and the needs of the North American market, in particular."
Schulte has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in management systems from GMI Engineering and Management Institute. He will be based in Greensboro, N.C.
Gilbarco Veeder-Root is a supplier of integrated fuel control, site management, and support services for petroleum marketers and commercial fueling enterprises worldwide.
