New features include PA-DSS 2.0 compliance, age verification, mobile payment, lottery

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Gilbarco Veeder-Root has announced the release of Passport v10, its most advanced retail point-of-sale system (POS) application to date. The new product offers many new features including PA-DSS 2.0 compliance, age verification, mobile payment, remote management and lottery ticket sales from the dispenser.

The product allows retailers to differentiate their sites from competitors through features like mobile payment and lottery purchase at the pump - powerful tools to engage and build loyalty with the customer base. Passport v10 also enables the new Insite360 suite of business management tools, which allow closer monitoring, management of fuel prices, and control of configuration setting and reporting, making Passport v10 the most robust remotely-managed POS system on the market.

"We have made Passport v10 easy to integrate for retailers, while maximizing flexibility," said Bryan Crossan, director of marketing for Gilbarco Veeder-Root. "We've built in multiple functionality upgrades that will position retailers to meet regulatory requirements and have a full range of management and customer engagement solutions, all in one POS."

Passport v10 continues to build upon the strengths of the system, including lower training time for cashiers and a higher degree of compatibility with loyalty programs and other third party systems. Passport remains the lowest total cost of ownership in the business, and provides existing customers with a straight-forward path to EMV and PA-DSS 2.0 compliance.
