BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Jaco Oil Co.'s Fastrip Convenience Stores are now featuring LiveWire Ergogenics Inc.'s LiveWire Energy chews at 53 locations throughout California and Arizona. The full line of LiveWire Energy products is located in specially designed grab-and-go product towers that are positioned near Fastrip checkout registers.

"The Fastrip team is very excited to be offering the LiveWire Energy product line. We have seen the demand for unique energy products among our customers and LiveWire Energy satisfies an important part of that demand. As a retailer, we're especially pleased with LiveWire's very proactive product marketing activities. LiveWire Energy chews are a welcome addition to the many great products offered in our stores," Fred Faulkner, marketing director for Fastrip, said.

Designed for consumers with an action-packed lifestyle, LiveWire Energy chews are pocket-sized, portable alternatives to bulky energy drinks or shots. Available in seven different flavors, its grab-n-go packaging responsibly displays the amount of caffeine in each chew, including Citrus Mango (90 mg caffeine), Pomaberry (90 mg caffeine), Chocolate (100 mg caffeine), Mint Chocolate (120 mg caffeine), Sour Apple (90 mg caffeine), Cinnamon Fire (90 mg caffeine), and Coffee (100 mg caffeine).

"Fastrip is an exceptional convenience store retailer and serves premium markets throughout California and Arizona. We're very pleased that Fastrip has chosen to offer LiveWire Energy chews to its customers," LiveWire CEO Bill Hodson said.

"Fastrip customers with action-packed lifestyles can now enjoy a quick, premium flavored energy boost with our portable and pocket-sized energy chews. Chewables are the logical next evolution in the energy products category, which is estimated to grow to more than $20 billion in 2013. LiveWire Energy chews are very convenient and at about 69 cents apiece, they are less than 25% of the cost of most energy drinks and supplements," he said.

LiveWire Energy chews are manufactured in Anaheim, Calif., by LiveWire Ergogenics, which markets a full-flavored, soft "energy" chew packed with both B vitamins and up to 120 mg of time-released caffeine.
