NAPAVINE, Wash. -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. opened two new locations in September, as well as two in August. The latest travel stop opened on September 22, in Napavine, Wash., located at Interstate 5, Exit 72.

The Napavine Love's includes a Carl's Jr. restaurant. It also features 73 truck spaces, DEF dispensers at the diesel islands, CAT scales, five showers, RFID cardless fueling technology and other amenities. A truck tire care center is located behind the travel stop.

Professional drivers will receive double "I Love Rewards" loyalty points on purchases at the new location through October 22.

On September 15, the chain opened a new travel stop in Bennett, Colo., located at Interstate 70, Exit 304.

The Bennett Love's includes Chester's Chicken and McDonald's restaurants. Love's was Chester's first franchisee, and currently is the largest franchise operator in the system, with more than 50 Chester's and Chester Fried locations in travel plazas across the United States.

This new Chester's site, which offers free Internet access, dine-in seating and a game room, will be co-branded with McDonalds. It plans to offer its customers takeout, dine-in and catering options.

The new Love's location also features 90 truck spaces, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) dispensers at the diesel islands, CAT scales, five showers, a lotto machine and other amenities. A truck tire care center is located behind the travel stop.

Professional drivers will receive double "I Love Rewards" loyalty points on purchases at the new location through October 15.

"We are committed to providing our customers with the amenities they need and excellent customer service at all of our travel stops," said Greg Love, president of Love's Development Cos. "We are excited to continue our growth throughout the country to better serve our customers."

Birmingham, Ala.-based Chester's International LLC started in 1952 by opening the Hol-In-One Donut business, which later started frying chicken and eventually became a franchise in 2002. The company is known for its signature hand breaded chicken prepared in proprietary products and seasonings.

Love's opened a new travel stop in Pauls Valley, Okla., located at Interstate 35, Exit 70, in late August. The new Pauls Valley location replaces the travel stop located at Interstate 35, Exit 72.

The Pauls Valley Love's includes a Burger King restaurant. It also features 77 truck spaces, eight gasoline fuel islands, eight truck diesel islands, DEF dispensers to reduce emissions, CAT scales, lottery and other amenities. There is a truck tire care center at the location.

"The new travel stop in Pauls Valley is special because it is the first fully rebuilt, state-of-the-art Love's in our home state of Oklahoma," said Tom Love, chairman and CEO. "We are committed to offering the best customer service and highest quality facilities to professional drivers and the motoring public in Oklahoma and across the country."

The company held a grand opening event for the new travel stop on September 2. Love's hosted a parade caravan featuring a marching band, fire truck, police escort, Love's fuel hauling trucks and a miniature fuel hauler through downtown Paul's Valley as it made the ceremonial move from its former location to its new location. It then held a ribbon cutting event at the new location.

Love's also held a ribbon cutting event in early August at a new travel stop in Rhome, Texas, located at Highway 287 and Highway 114.

As part of its ongoing commitment to the people and communities in which it operates, Love's donated $1,000 to the Wise Area Relief Mission (WARM), a nonprofit organization that provides food assistance and other services to Wise County residents. It donated another $1,000 to the Rhome Fire Department, which is made up entirely of volunteers.

"Love's is proud to be in Rhome and honored to donate to two programs that make a big difference in the community," said Greg Love. "We're excited to continue our growth in Texas, and we look forward to our partnership with the people of Rhome."

Founded in 1964 by Tom Love, Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is headquartered in Oklahoma City and remains entirely family owned and operated. With more than 275 locations and 100 tire care centers in 39 states, Love's approximate growth rate is 20 stores per year.
