JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Daily's convenience store chain in Florida is installing Coca-Cola's Freestyle fountains, said a report by the Jacksonville Business Journal.
Daily's parent company, First Coast Energy LP, is based in Jacksonville, Fla., and manages a network of about 200 gasoline and convenience stores throughout Florida.
It has installed the fountains that offer more than 100 carbonated and noncarbonated drink combinations in two of its newest stores.
The company said that it plans to roll out the fountains in about 15 more stores in the near future, a company spokesperson told the newspaper.
In late 2011, PAJCO Inc. announced that it was is the first convenience store marketer to offer the Coca-Cola Freestyle, with plans to feature Coca-Cola Freestyle in 11 of its Rhodes 101 Stops and Mercato di Rodi c-store locations, with additional units to be rolled out in 2012.
The Cape Girardeau, Mo.-based chain operates nearly 30 c-stores and a truckstop.

Other c-store chains are reportedly testing the concept.
Coca-Cola Freestyle is the brand name for a new fountain dispenser developed by Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Co. that uses microdosing technology to dispense more than 100 sparkling and still beverage brands from a single freestanding unit. The new unit has approximately the same footprint as current six-or eight-valve dispensers.
The first in a family of new dispensers, Coca-Cola Freestyle creates branded beverages by blending concentrated ingredients with water and sweetener at the point where the beverage is dispensed via proprietary PurePour Technology. It does not use syrup, but instead uses concentrated ingredients stored in cartridges in the dispenser cabinet.
It is currently installed in 2,330 locations, mostly in restaurants, according to the Coca-Cola Freestyle website.
Daily's is a large-format c-store chain with 24 stores that geographically range from Gainesville to Palm Coast. Its tagline is "It's nicer here."
