Texas Tea Grows at Home, Expands Into Utah

United Natural Foods and Golden Beverage Co. add drinks to distribution portfolio

AUSTIN, Texas -- Super-premium Texas Tea expanded its distribution footprint in Texas and Utah.

In Texas, retailers Tom Thumb/Randalls and Sam's Club began stocking Texas Tea, which is manufactured by D.B. Miller Inc., in July. They are purchasing it through United Natural Foods. Sam's is stocking a custom club pack featuring three flavors--Sugar Land Sweet Tea, Fredericksburg Peach Tea and the RGV Texas Style Half and Half--through its own warehouse.

Texas Tea also launched in Utah through Golden Beverage Co. in May. Golden Beverage is a full-service beverage distributor located in Ogden, Utah, selling and servicing a diverse portfolio of beer, soda and energy drinks, as well as a growing selection of family-oriented beverage brands. Golden Beverage also distributes Coors, Miller, Blue Moon, Dos Equis and Jarritos. Golden also sells Texas Squeeze, a premium juice line also manufactured by D.B. Miller Inc.
