Phusion Projects Promotes Sloan to President

Exec at Four Loko maker previously held positions at Heineken USA, Star Brand Imports

CHICAGO -- As the next step in the company's evolution, Phusion Projects LLC has announced that it is promoting Jim Sloan from executive vice president to president, effective immediately.

Sloan, who has more than 25 years of experience in the alcohol business, will be overseeing the day-to-day activities of the company and managing the company's growing executive team.

He has been with Phusion for four years, previously holding senior management positions at Heineken USA and Star Brand Imports.

"We've seen strong growth in our products, sales force and executive team over the past year, and I'm excited by the opportunity to lead Phusion, as we are increasingly recognized as a pioneering, multi-brand supplier," said Sloan. Phusion is currently the sixth largest U.S.-owned brewer and is known for its popular brands Four Loko, Island Squeeze, Moskato Life and Earthquake.

Sloan resides in New York, but will be spending a significant amount of time in the company's Chicago headquarters.
