Gluten-free nut and fruit blends coming to c-stores, other retailers in 1 .5-oz size
SEATTLE -- Sahale Snacks, which offers an all-natural line of gluten-free nut blends, has rolled out its new healthy grab-and-go snacks in single-serving pouches. The 1.5-ounce bags fit in the hand for perfectly portioned snacking, and come in four flavor combinations: California Almonds + Sea Salt, Classic Fruit + Nut Blend, Almonds with Cranberries, Honey + Sea Salt and Cashews with Pomegranate + Vanilla.
"Today, people are snacking more than ever and often replace meals with small bites or snacks whenever they get a break in their busy lives," said Edmond Sanctis, co-founder of Sahale Snacks.
These individual-sized healthy snacks provide four to nine grams of protein and one to four grams of fiber per serving, are gluten free and contain no artificial ingredients or preservatives.
Beginning this summer, Sahale grab-and-go snacks will be at grocery stores, convenience stores, delis and coffee shops.
Sahale Snacks was founded in Seattle in 2003 by Josh Schroeter and Edmond Sanctis after climbing Mt. Rainier and enduring days of uninspiring trail mix and energy bars. They set out to create a healthy, conveniently packaged and great tasting snack. Pronounced "Sa-HA-lee," each of the brand's four product lines--Nut Blends, Glazed Nuts, Sahale Crunchers and Premium Blends--start with natural nuts.
