Messaging "jacket" fits around dispensers
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. -- PromoWorks LLC has launched PromoPump, a point-of-sale (POS) promotional "jacket" that zips around the hose of any fuel pump.
Constructed of fuel-resistant materials, the PromoPump has ample brand messaging space and offers custom color graphics. The unit has a cushion foam core that provides protection for auto bodies and its reflective neon strips deliver nighttime visibility and safety.
"PromoPump is a new way to reach a captive audience while they fuel up. This is typically idle time for consumers, and [image-nocss] the PromoPump gives them a targeted message to react to while they are refilling," said John Gabbey, vice president of c-store business development for PromoWorks, Schaumburg, Ill. "We have had a lot of interest from our CPG manufacturer clients as they continually seek fresh, innovative ways to build brand awareness and drive fuel traffic in-store. In fact, Shell Oil recently chose PromoPump for its national Shell V-Power fuel launch."
PromoPump is the latest addition to PromoWorks' array of c-store promotional products and services. The marketing services company is a provider of in-store sampling and retail-entertainment events and promotions. Representing more than 200 CPG manufacturers, PromoWorks creates and executes sampling programs nationally in the grocery, mass merchant, drug, convenience, home improvement and specialty classes of trade.
