AutoGas acquires Centego Marketing
ABILENE, Texas -- AutoGas Systems Inc. said that it has acquired the assets of Centego Marketing Inc., a provider of loyalty reward marketing and the pioneer of Fuel Rewards. AutoGas and Centego will combine resources to expand cross-marketing loyalty solutions in the convenience, grocery and other select channels of trade.
AutoGas has been a provider of fuel automation and loyalty technology program management for years, and its patented solutions allow cents-off-per-unit discount on fuel purchases driving the market for their retail partners. The AutoGas [image-nocss] technology allows the retailer to leverage existing point-of-sale (POS) systems while delivering higher top-line revenue enhanced profit and increased market share.
With Centego's expertise in offer creation, offer management, data management and data analysis, we can deliver a unique, end-to-end technology and marketing product to our retail and manufacturer partners, said Randy Nicholson, president and CEO of AutoGas. This combination will provide our retailers with[a] portfolio of technology solutions and marketing service products permitting the seamless integration of grocery store purchases to fuel island transactions. This feature will be a major asset to gasoline and nongasoline retailers, which will allow Fuel Rewards to be redeemed either at their own sites or third-party sites.
Centego Marketing will continue to be based in Dallas and will operate as an AutoGas subsidiary.
Abilene, Texas-based AutoGas, a provider of pioneered pay-at-the-pump technology, it said, The company's most recent innovation is the Digital Rewards loyalty program.
Centego's Fuel Reward program has been available in more than 2,000 retail outlets, touched more than 130 million consumers, saved consumers more than $19 million on gasoline and moved more than 209 million incremental gallons of gasoline, said the company.
