New web store will cater to foodservice retailers, restaurants, convenience stores
MIDDLETON, Wis. -- Food Concepts Inc. (FCI) has launched Foodpros.com as a new equipment and smallwares web store for foodservice retailers, restaurants and convenience stores.
Foodpros.com was built for c-store owners and other retail business channels to browse and purchase a broad spectrum of low-cost equipment and smallwares solutions.
There are currently around 1,000 equipment and smallwares SKUs on the site and growing daily, the company said. Featured brands include APWWyott, Acryfab, Nemco, Star, Wisco, Cambro, Carlisle and more.
There is a segment of independent and chain retailers who want equipment without graphics, Food Concepts said. Foodpros.com allows these customers to search and purchase the equipment they want online. For merchandising and branding solutions, Food Concepts will still be available to them as needed and will still offer catalog pricing on custom web store programs for manufacturers and retailers.
Foodpros.com will also engage in search engine optimization (SEO) as well as network with many other leading web platforms such as Google Shopping, Amazon, EBay and Bing, it said.
Food Concepts said that it determined that the best way to bring awareness and deliver low prices to more customers was to create a web store brand focusing on this business segment. With more than 21 years experience, Middleton, Wis.-based Food Concepts is an equipment wholesaler and fulfillment services provider that has designed and manufactured merchandising solutions for nationally known clients in the foodservice and convenience industries.
Foodpros.com allows Food Concepts to expand its offering of other types of equipment and smallwares through manufacturer relationships with major industry brands.
