“Mocha on Fire” and “Cookies n’ Crème” tap into beverage trends
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Boyd Coffee Co. is introducing two new limited-time-only flavors to its coffee lineup. “Mocha on Fire” and “Cookies n’ Creme” cappuccinos tap into top 2013 beverage trends, as identified in Bell Flavors & Fragrances’ annual top 10 list, according to the company.
- Mocha on Fire delivers on the 2013 trend of spicy beverages. The fiery spiciness of this chocolaty mocha warms customers from the inside out. Mocha on Fire will be available beginning in January for a limited time only.
- Cookies n’ Creme meets the 2013 trend for nostalgic, comforting dessert flavors with its classic, indulgent flavors of cookies and cream. Cookies n’ Creme will be available beginning in March for a limited time only.
These on-trend, LTO beverages will refresh a beverage set, draw in new customers and increase cappuccino sales, according to the company. Mocha on Fire and Cookies n’ Creme are available in cases of six 2-lb. packs, each yielding 256 fl. oz.
