Chester's Excels in Oklahoma Excel Food Mart in Yukon home to newest chicken foodservice operation

YUKON, Okla. -- Chester's International, a leading fried chicken foodservice offering in the convenience store category, has announced the grand opening of its newest location in Yukon, Okla. The Excel Food Mart celebrated the grand opening with Chester's on October 28.
A special grand opening event was held including a ribbon cutting ceremony and a guest appearance by Chester the Chicken, who helped with the ceremonies a posed for pictures with local fans.
"We are extremely excited about the addition of Chester's to the Excel Food Mart in Yukon," said Neal Do, owner of the Excel Food Mart. "We know Chester's marketing and operations support are top notch, and we look forward to providing our customers with their great tasting, fried chicken"
The Excel Food Mart will now offer Chester's signature menu items such as fried bone-in chicken, chicken tenders, potato wedges and biscuits. The newest Chester's location will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it will offer customers dine-in or carry-out options.

"Operators are realizing more and more the endless potential of foodservice sales. Everyone sells candy bars, gas, and snacks but not everyone sells fresh fried chicken. The Excel Food Mart will do well with Chester's."
Chester's is an emerging leader of quick-serve restaurant (QSR) concepts with more than 1,500 Chester Fried licensed and Chester's franchised locations. Along with its chicken, Chester's offers flexible size and store layout options, training and support. Chester's uses only fresh chicken that is specially marinated and double-breaded using a proprietary family recipe and offers bone-in, tenders and potato wedges as well as sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast and sides.
