LA PALMA, Calif. -- Following the launch of its new morning menu earlier this month, ampm is inviting customers to sample new breakfast burritos, empanadas and croissant sandwiches Wednesday, September 23, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at participating U.S. ampm stores while supplies last. Participating stores will offer half-size versions of items from the new menu.
Sampling will be accompanied by coupons for any hot breakfast item for $1.
"Once customers get a taste of our new hot breakfast items, we're confident they'll come back for more," said Bill Fry, president of BP U.S. Convenience Retail.
The menu offers commuters the following morning breakfast options:
Two breakfast burritos: The Works, filled with smoked ham, bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns and three cheeses; and the Chorizo con Papas, filled with chorizo, eggs, potatoes and a three-cheese blend
Two empanadas (stuffed pastries): one with sausage, egg and cheese, and the other with chorizo, egg and cheese
Depending on the region, ampm will offer either two or three croissant sandwiches: one with sausage, egg and cheese, another with ham, egg and cheese, and—in certain areas—bacon, egg and pepper-jack cheese.
Radio ads supporting the sampling day is running in selected areas from September 21 to September 23. BP is also promoting the new breakfast menu with e-mail blasts, text message alerts and store signage.
