HOUSTON -- Shell Oil Product US stopped offering unbranded gasoline products to rack customers at almost 20 terminals based on low sales volume.
This decision, which went into effect March 1, "was made after evaluating availability of replacement fuel in the same market to ensure existing customers would not be adversely impacted by the exit," a Shell spokesperson told CSP Daily News. "This is part of Shell's business strategy to focus on distribution points that deliver the bulk of our volume."
The terminals included in the change were:
Fort Smith, Ark.
North Little Rock, Ark.
Bettendorf, Iowa
Council Bluffs, Iowa
Des Moines, Iowa
Concordia, Kansas
El Dorado, Kansas
McPherson, Kansas
Scott City, Kansas
Ferrysburg, Mich.
Jackson, Mich.
Lima, Mich.
Marshall, Mich.
Niles, Mich.
Springfield, Mo.
Albuquerque, N.M.
