KSS Launches Fuel Pricing Command & Control
Program gives retailers greater control over fuel margins, firm says

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- KSS Inc. has launched a more integrated fuels pricing operation, which it calls "Fuel Pricing Command & Control," and has announced a Preferred Integration Partner program with three leading electronic price sign companies with whom KSS will collaborate to deliver that vision to fuel retailers.

"Fuel Pricing Command and Control" is the integration of the fuels pricing process from price decision to price sign. It gives retailers complete control and visibility over every step of the process, as well as instant price change capabilities from the corporate office, store or remote mobile device. The closed-loop nature of the integration will confirm successful implementation at the sign and generate exception alerts to any issues with price changes.

FutureMedia Displays, PWM Electronic Price Signs and SunShine Electronic Display Corp have joined KSS's Preferred Integration Partner program and will help deliver "Fuel Pricing Command & Control" by providing seamless integration between KSS fuels pricing technology and their electronic price displays.

Backed by comprehensive testing and certification, the KSS Preferred Integration Partner program ensures rapid, seamless integration between KSS's pricing systems and partner solutions such as electronic price displays, point-of-sale (POS) and site controller equipment, the company said. Commitment to a joint integration roadmap guarantees compatibility with future releases of partner solutions, it added.

"Fuels retailers are actively seeking ways to gain more control over their fuel margins by automating the setting and implementation of prices and quickly dealing with any issues that might impact volume, margin or brand image. KSS and its partners offer certified integration of our respective solutions, giving retailers the most responsive, consistent and error-free management of fuels prices from corporate office to price sign," said Bob Stein, CEO and president of KSS.

KSS is a leading global provider of pricing software, analytics and consulting services to fuel retailers and wholesalers in the oil and gas, convenience store and retail industries. KSS helps fuel marketers identify and efficiently execute optimal pricing strategies. The company's U.S. headquarters is located in Florham Park, N.J., and its international headquarters is in Manchester, U.K.
