MAPCO Picks Up Mamajuana Energy
Retailer will sell Layfield's "energy and virility" beverage

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- Through a distribution deal with Baywood International Inc. and Layfield Energy Inc., MAPCO Express Inc. will now carry the Mamajuana Extreme "energy and virility" drink in its convenience stores. 

MAPCO is a division of Brentwood, Tenn.-based DELEK US Holdings Inc., which operates more than 500 c-stores under the MAPCO Express, MAPCO Mart, East Coast, Discount Food Mart, Fast Food and Fuel and Favorite Markets brand names. Stores are located primarily in and around Memphis, Chattanooga and Nashville, Tenn., northern Georgia, northern Alabama and Richmond, Va. 

John "Bradshaw" Layfield, now CEO of Layfield Energy, wrestled in 1995 to 2006 with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for 11 years, becoming the longest reigning champion in Smackdown TV history. He has sponsored charity events for Make-A-Wish Foundation and The American Freedom Festival, raising monies for U.S. soldiers. He wrote a personal financial planning book, Have More Money Now, and subsequently has appeared on major TV networks as a financial and political commentator. He now appears regularly on Fox Business. He has been to the Middle East seven times to visit the soldiers on behalf of the WWE, AFE and USO. He joined Northeast Securities Inc. in 2006 as senior vice president focused on new business development and he has significant experience and broad contacts in media and entertainment as well as knowledge in alternative energy. 

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Layfield Energy, a joint venture of Layfield Inc. and Baywood International, is a targeted nutraceutical company offering Mamajuana Extreme, a new energy and virility drink for men, and 418 Energy, the first energy drink formulated specifically for golfers. Baywood International is a nutritional science company that develops, markets and sells nutraceutical and nutritionally enhanced products and new-age beverages under its own brands, currently including LifeTime; Baywood PURECHOICE, Baywood SOLUTIONS and Complete La Femme; and Mamajuana Extreme.
