ROCKLAND, Mass. -- Tedeschi Food Shops Inc. has announced the opening of its 190th location, in the town of Fall River, Mass. The new location is the company's fourth store in Fall River and officially opened its doors to customers today, February 11. To mark the event, the company plans to have a ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 26.

"We have proudly served the Fall River community for over 30 years, and are pleased to be able to continue that legacy with the addition of our fourth store in the area," said Peter Tedeschi, president and CEO of Tedeschi Food Shops.

The new facility will offer customers Tedeschi Fuel in addition to an assortment of snacks, beverages and fresh-food items such as the TD's Deli Express lines of premium sandwiches, wraps and freshly made salads. The store will also offer Dunkin Donuts coffee in a variety of flavors.

As a part of the celebration, Tedeschi Food Shops will be making a donation to the City of Fall River's Boys & Girls Club, which helps to provide needy children with food and clothing as well as mentoring, a homework club, stay-in-school programs and recreational activities in a safe environment.

"The Boys & Girls Club of Fall River is a remarkable organization that contributes a great deal to the greater Fall River area. We're very happy to support their efforts and we thank them for all that they do for the citizens of Fall River," said Tedeschi.

Rockland, Mass.-based Tedeschi Food Shops is a family-owned and -operated convenience store chain with more than $600 million in revenue for 2009 and more than 2,000 employees. The company operates 190 c-store locations throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
